EVENT DETAILS
- Event Type: Institution-Based
- Eligible Participants: Boys from classes 8-12 (Institutions with college sections will compete as one team)
- Note: Students of Notre Dame College are not eligible to participate.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- 16 teams (6-a-side) divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each
- Round-robin format: Each team plays against every team in their group once
- Top 2 teams from each group advance to quarter-finals
- Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals follow in knockout format
Due to limited slots, the organizing committee will select teams through a registration process.
OFFICIAL RULES
1. Team Composition: 10 players total (6 playing + 4 substitutes, rolling substitution permitted)
2. Match Duration:
• Group Stage: 16 minutes (8 minutes per half)
• Quarter Finals: 20 minutes (10 minutes per half)
• Semi Finals: 24 minutes(12 minutes per half)
• Final: 30 minutes(15 minutes per half)
• Note: No half time, 1 min break to change sides;Additional time may be added by referee.
3. Officiating: All matches will be supervised by FIFA certified referees.
REWARDS• Champions: Prize money, Championship Trophy, Gold Medals, and Certificates of Excellence
• Runners-up: Prize money, Runners Up Trophy, Silver Medals, and Certificates of Excellence
• Individual Awards: Recognition for outstanding performers
• All Participants: Certificates of Participation
The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the format and rules if necessary.
Violation of any stated rules may result in immediate disqualification.
